AAdvantage Cards Get New Global Look


Nearly 30 years ago, American introduced the AAdvantage frequent flyer loyalty program. The membership card immediately became a symbol of prestige and innovation, and is now carried by more than 60 million customers the world over.

That global presence will now be reflected in the cards themselves, as the entire family of AAdvantage cards has been redesigned with an updated look to convey American's international scope and worldwide loyalty rewards. The redesign also establishes an integrated look and feel across regular and elite-level cards.

Following a recent branding exercise, new AAdvantage members will receive a newly redesigned card with their first mileage-earning activity. Members who reach a new elite level or re-qualify for their current elite level will receive a new elite card.
